An exploration of presence through abstract form and gesture.
For collectors, my work offers both aesthetic presence and lasting value—pieces that stand at the intersection of contemporary design and timeless emotion. I see each acquisition as a partnership, where my art becomes part of the collector’s story as much as it is part of mine.

“FIRST FLOW” explores passion as a fluid state — an ongoing curiosity toward experience, movement, and sensation. The composition unfolds through layered gestures and circulating forms, creating a sense of rhythm and flow rather than fixed structure.
Color moves freely across the surface, suggesting warmth, embodiment, and the desire to engage with life fully. The painting does not aim to resolve or contain energy, but to let it travel — inviting the viewer into a relationship with motion, pleasure, and attentiveness.
This work reflects an openness to experience: a willingness to follow impulse, to remain curious, and to stay in conversation with what feels alive. It rewards prolonged viewing, revealing subtle shifts and connections that echo the cyclical nature of desire and presence.
“First Flow” is suited for collectors and designers drawn to contemporary abstract art that feels embodied, intuitive, and quietly sensual — work that carries emotional intelligence and movement into a space.
Original abstract painting by Ana Cuciuc. Mixed media on wood. 12”x12”
“The Inner Field” explores the experience of entering a contained world — a space that exists within itself. The composition functions like a close view, drawing the viewer inward toward layered forms, concentrated color, and subtle shifts in scale. What initially feels intimate gradually expands, revealing complexity and depth within a bounded frame.
This painting invites sustained attention. It is less about observation from a distance and more about immersion — a moment of zooming in, where perception narrows and the internal landscape becomes vast. Movement, color, and form circulate within the surface, creating a sense of an interior system quietly at work.
“The Inner Field” speaks to curiosity and inward focus, offering a visual experience that rewards closeness and repeated viewing. It holds space for contemplation, suggesting that within even the smallest frame, an entire world can unfold.
Meet the artist
When I was 18, I lost my voice—and in that silence, I found something else. I turned inward, and then outward again through creation. What began with jewelry evolved into floral design, and eventually led me to painting—the place where I feel most fully myself.
Painting, for me, is not just a practice. It’s a language. A way of exploring what cannot be spoken. I’m drawn to color, to movement, to the quiet dialogue between shapes and feeling. Each piece is an emotional landscape—intuitive, energetic, and deeply personal.
